Will Robin Thicke earn an impressive 11th week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week with "Blurred Lines," or will Katy Perry ascend to #1 for an eighth time with her new hit "Roar"? Chart authorities at Billboard say the race is "too close to call." The Hot 100 is calculated from sales, radio airplay, and online streaming data. Robin Thicke has a powerful lead at radio, but Katy Perry is far ahead in sales this week. Robin Thicke remains in all time record territory for radio dominance while "Roar" looks set to rack up the biggest sales week of the year so far. Katy Perry tied an all-time record held by Michael Jackson when she released five #1 pop hit singles from the album Teenage Dream. Only Michael Jackson's classic Bad generated the same number of #1 hits. Data will be finalized and we will know who wins this battle for the top on Wednesday.
