It is intended to indicate the hottest rising hits. Recordings that have reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart are disqualified from this chart.

With the help of social media marketing experts theAudience, "#Selfie" is exploding virally.  The clever parody of social media party culture is already a top 10 dance hit.  It is also beginning to head up the UK pop singles chart.

2. Aloe Blacc - "The Man"

Aloe Blacc samples the line, "And you can tell everybody" from Elton John's classic pop hit "Your Song" on "The Man."  The song is a top 10 R&B hit in the US and has already sold more than a million copies.  "The Man" has also become a major pop hit single in both Australia and New Zealand.

3. Idina Menzel - "Let It Go"

Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" continues to bask in the Oscar winning afterglow. Idina Menzel herself is currently appearing in the new musical If / Then which is currently in previews at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway.  She is a past winner of the Tony Award for originating the character of Elphaba in Wicked.

4. American Authors - "Best Day Of My Life"

"Best Day Of My Life" has gone all the way to #1 on the adult pop chart for American Authors.  It is their first major hit single.  The song has shown appeal across a wide range of radio genres.  It is a top 10 rock hit and is climbing alternative and adult contemporary charts.

5. DJ Snake - "Turn Down For What" featuring Lil Jon

DJ Snake - Turn Down For What featuring Lil Jon

The success of "Turn Down For What" and its use of the trap style of music is beginning to spread beyond the boundaries of the US.  The song has become a top 40 pop hit in New Zealand and is beginning to climb the pop singles chart in Canada as well.




6. Justin Timberlake - "Not a Bad Thing"

Rixton are a four man pop group that hails from Manchester, UK.  The initially gained a large following on YouTube for cover versions of songs that were originally hits for other artists.  They are currently working with hitmaking producer Benny Blanco and a debut album is expected later this year.


9. Paramore - "Ain't It Fun"

Paramore's single "Ain't It Fun" includes influences from funk and soul allowing the band to stretch their creative wings.  It has received strong critical acclaim and is already a top 20 rock hit for the band.

10. Avicii - "Hey Brother"

24 year old Swedish DJ and dance pop artist Avicii was first ranked among the top 100 DJs in the world by DJ Magazine in 2010 when he ranked #33.  The last two years he has been ranked at #3.
