"Happy" was the first single from Leona Lewis' second album Echo. Ryan Tedder said in interviews he believed it was the most beautiful song he had worked on to that point in his career. Released in the fall of 2009 the song reached #2 on the UK pop singles chart but only climbed to #31 on the Billboard Hot 100.
