Quote from Travis Richter of From First to Last:

Explaining the band's approach to screaming for Trouble Bunch Music:

"We scream out of emotion and that emotion is anger and frustration. It's not like self-pity. It's not like we're singing this ballad and the music doesn't even climax and I just start screaming for no reason at all or it's like 'let's just scream right here.' We don't ever do anything like that."

First EP and Record Contract:

From First to Last released their first EP Aesthetic on the indpendent label Four Leaf Recordings. With positive response from these first recordings and their dynamic live show, the band were signed to Epitaph, one of the top independent record labels.

Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count:

Epitaph released Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, From First to Last's first full-length album, in June 2004. With intensive touring, including a slot on the Warped tour, the album rose to #12 on Billboard's Heatseekers album chart. The title of the album comes from a line in the movie Heathers.

The Sound of From First to Last:

The music of From First to Last fits well into the post-hardcore screamo crowd of bands. Songs are filled with intense emotion driven by breakneck drumming, clipped power chords, and throat-shredding screams. However, without warning the songs may break down into breaks of quiet melody and inventive sound effects. The band support their recorded music with energetic, inventive live shows.

Into the Future:

From First to Last's second album Heroine is set for a March 21, 2006 release date. The group will join Fall Out Boy, All-American Rejects, and Hawthorne Heights for the Black Clouds and Underdogs concert tour in the spring of 2006.
