Early Career:

Cheyenne Kimball began writing songs when she first picked up the guitar at the age of 8. She began writing music nearly every single day and by the age of 12 she had written almost 200 songs. Cheyenne Kimball honed her performance skills as well, and, in 2003, she entered the competition on the television show America's Most Talented Kid and won.

Record Contract:

Following her TV victory, Cheyenne Kimball was signed to a recording contract by Epic Records. She began recording her debut album while trying to balance the normal life of a teenager.

Cheyenne Kimball's celebrity crush is actor Johnny Depp.

MTV Reality Show:

On May 31, 2006 MTV debuted a reality show called Cheyenne built around Cheyenne Kimball and her efforts to balance a recording career and the normal life of a 15 year old. The MTV crew spends 10 hours a day around her to film the show.

The Day Has Come:

After 3 years of writing songs and recording, Cheyenne Kimball completed her first album The Day Has Come. It was released on July 11, 2006. The single "Hanging On" was released earlier in April, but it has taken time for the song to gain popularity. The debut of the TV show helped Cheyenne Kimball gain the attention of pop radio.
