In Search of the Partridge Family:
Teddy Geiger grew up near Rochester, New York and began singing and writing songs at age 8. He first came to the attention of national television audiences as a finalist in the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family. He auditioned for the role of Keith Partridge, originally played by David Cassidy in the 1970's, but he didn't make the final cut.
After seeing Teddy Geiger's national performance on VH1, producer Billy Mann (Ricky Martin, Jessica Simpson, Anastacia) took an interest in him. Teddy Geiger was signed to a major label recording contract with Columbia Records at the age of 16.

Teddy Geiger recently won a Rochester, New York Battle of the Bands event and donated his $1,000 winnings to tsunami relief.
Teddy Geiger's first album Underage Thinking is set for a March, 2006 release. It initially received a publicity boost when Geiger was hired to portray an up-and-coming musician on the CBS TV show Love Monkey. Unfortunately, the show was put on indefinite hiatus. Despite the setback, pop radio began playing the single "For You I Will (Confidence)" and it entered the pop top 40 in February, 2006.
