Thursday December 8, 2005 the nominations for the 2006 Grammy Awards were announced. The awards will be presented February 8, 2006 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The ceremonies will be broadcast live on CBS Television at 8 p.m. EST. The nominees are voted on and winners selected by members of the Recording Academy.
