The Arctic Monkeys emerged in the UK in 2006 with one of the fastest selling debut albums ever. Now with four consecutive #1 albums and nine top 40 pop hit singles to their credit in the UK, they are a fixture as one of the country's top pop-rock bands. All four albums have also been top 25 hits on the album chart in the US keeping the Artic Monkeys a favorite among alternative music fans.

The Black Keys
Friday - 9:45 p.m. Coachella stage
Blues-rock duo the Black Keys are on a hot streak. Their most recent album El Camino hit #2 on the album chart in the US and was picked on many critics' lists as among the top 10 albums of the year in 2011. The single "Lonely Boy" topped both alternative and rock songs charts while spending several weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. They are one of the top headlining acts for music festivals in the summer of 2012.

Saturday - 8:10 p.m. Coachella stage
Indie rock band the Shins have become much more familiar to mainstream pop fans with their last two albums that both hit the top 3 of the album chart. They gave a well-received performance on Saturday Night Live in March, 2012. The current single "Simple Song" has reached the top 20 on the alternative songs chart and bubbled under just outside the Billboard Hot 100.

The popularity of French dance music producer and artist David Guetta has exploded. He is now arguably the biggest dance pop producer in the world. His singles "Without You," "Titanium," and "Turn Me On" have been massive pop hits around the world. The album Nothing But the Beat was a #1 smash in many different countries around the world, too.

Saturday - 11:05 p.m. Coachella stage
Radiohead's legendary status as one of the world's greatest rock bands of all time only continues to grow. Their last five studio albums have reached the top 10 in both the US and the UK. Radiohead's most recent album The King Of Limbs was nominated for five Grammy Awards.

British band Nero have brought dubstep to the pop mainstream in the UK culminating in the #1 debut of their single "Promises" on the UK pop singles chart last August. They are currently touring in the US to spread their anthemic dubstep sound. The album Welcome Reality reached the top 10 of the dance music album chart in the US.

Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine has a stage presence and sound unlike any other current pop act. Her music continues to find new fans on both sides of the Atlantic. The single "Shake It Out" has been a hit around the world and has the unusual distinction of being a top 10 hit in the US on both the rock songs and the dance charts. The album Ceremonials has been certified gold in the US and platinum at home in the UK.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg
Sunday - 10:35 p.m. Coachella stage
Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are both hip hop legends. Together they present a unique opportunity to see two major architects of US rap music share the stage. There are also various rumors that other colleagues and proteges could join them for their headlining Coachella set that closes the festival.
