Fall Out Boy begin to come into their own here. The album was released on the indie label Fueled By Ramen, but the group had already generated interest from major label Island, and Island kicked in some of the recording expense.

The result is a powerful full-length album debut packed with intelligent, catchy pop punk tunes. This is the band's first album to make an appearance on national charts. It reached the top 20 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart in early 2004.

This acoustic EP was put together to help capitalize on Fall Out Boy's rising image as concert performers. It is notable for the inclusion of a cover version of Joy Division's classic "Love Will Tear Us Apart," and DVD content that includes the band in concert and behind the scenes. This EP was Fall Out Boy's first entry on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. It made a brief splash debuting at #153 in June 2004.
