Prince - 3121
Prince - 3121

This is one of the strongest pop weeks yet this year. Look for a good opening sales week for Prince, My Chemical Romance, and Teddy Geiger.

1) Prince - 3121

Prince returns 2 years after his powerful comeback with Musicology. With that album free concert handouts were counted on the chart as sales. This time it is only real in-the-store and online sales that count.

6) Editors - The Back Room

This band's contemporary updating of classic post-punk has taken them into the top 5 of the UK's pop album chart. Now, the Atlantic crossing is in process.

7) Josh Rouse - Subtitulo

If Jack Johnson's Curious George music is starting to wear thin, but you love the laidback style, try singer-songwriter Josh Rouse's latest. It's a collection of warm, comfortable, laidback, Americana-tinged pop tunes.
