The release schedule for fall is starting to heat up. Look for a good ride of new albums for several weeks to come.
1) Outkast - Idlewild
It is long delayed. Idlewild was originally slated for release over 9 months back, but many would say better late than never for any release from Outkast.
2) Danity Kane - Danity Kane
Danity Kane are proteges of Diddy and the 3rd band formed in MTV's reality series Making the Band. This is their first full-length album.
3) Paris Hilton - Paris
Paris Hilton has turned to singing as her occupation du jour. This album features the hit "Stars Are Blind."
4) Kelis - Kelis Was Here
Kelis returns looking to repeat the chart success of her massive hit "Milkshake.
5) Crazy Frog - More Crazy Hits
Crazy Frog returns with another collection of wacky remakes including the version of "We Are the Champions" used as a World Cup anthem.
6) Lamb of God - Sacrament
Lamb of God play blisteringly loud, aggressive metalcore. It's not for everyone's taste, but it appealed to enough fans to take their previous studio set into the top 30 on the album chart.
7) Pat Green - Cannonball
Pat Green's star in the country music world continues to rise as his music occupies a middle ground nearly indistinguishable between country and pop-rock.
8) Cursive - Happy Hollow
An indie rock dissertation on religion in American society that's fun? If you don't think it's possible you haven't listened to Cursive.
9) Gov't Mule - High and Mighty
Powered by former members of the Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule plays tough, solid, classic album rock.
10) P.F. Sloan - Sailover
P.F. Sloan is best known for writing the 60's pop classic "Eve of Destruction." This is his return to the recording studio and features contributions from guest artists including Frank Black, Lucinda Williams, and Buddy Miller.
