Comments

Basshunter log a 5th week at the top of the chart this week with Nickelback moving to a new peak of #2. If "Rockstar" manages to reach #1 next week it will set a new record for the slowest climb to #1 on the UK pop singles chart. The group Wet Wet Wet, perhaps best known for their 15 week stay at #1 with their version of "Love Is All Around" in the mid-90's, return this week with a top 10 debut for "Weightless."

Comments

It looks like Jack Johnson is on his way to having a chart-topping album on both sides of the Atlantic as Sleep Through the Static debuts in the top spot in the UK. Electronic pop band Hot Chip land their first top 10 album this week on the strength of the top 10 pop single "Ready for the Floor."
