McFly roar onto the chart at #1 with a new version of a classic song by the power pop group Jellyfish. Linkin Park slide into the top 10 with "What I've Done," their biggest hit yet in the UK. Special mention should be made of Scooch sliding into the top 5 with this year's UK Eurovision Song Contest entry "Flying the Flag (For You)." Although the song ended up second to last in the competition, it is the highest charting homegrown Eurovision song in the last 10 years.

Bjork joins the train of success with her highest album chart placing since 1997 as <i>Volta</i> opens at #7.
