Comments

With an 8th week on top, Rihanna has now entered very elite territory. "Umbrella" is only the second single since the year 2000 to spend 8 weeks or more at the top of the UK chart. Last Year Gnarls Barkley camped out for a full 9 weeks at the top with their breakthrough single "Crazy." Avril Lavigne is looking for her first #1 hit in the UK, but it looks like she may have to settle for her 3rd top 3 as "When You're Gone" surges into the top 3 in its first week of physical release.
