Comments

The possibility of a big surge in sales for Robbie Williams' "Rudebox" failed to materialize so Scissor Sisters slide easily into the top spot with "I Don't Feel Like Dancin,'" their very first #1 hit single in the UK. Nelly Furtado soars into the #3 spot with her followup to the #1 smash "Maneater." It looks like Fergie could make a challenge for the top next week. Fergie's "London Bridge" opens at #25 on downloads alone.

Comments

Snow Patrol climbs once again into the top spot for a 3rd run at the peak. Although it's certain to debut at #1 back home, Beyonce's B'Day only manages a #3 debut in the UK despite the single "Deja Vu" having been a #1 smash. Freddie Mercury remains one of the most legendary figures in pop history in the UK as demonstrated by the #6 debut of the latest compilation of his past work.
