Comments

An unusual occurrence for the UK pop singles chart takes place this week. All of the top 5 singles are the same as last week. There is a little shuffling around, but Scissor Sisters manage to hold onto the top slot for a 3rd week keeping the Killers from their first #1 hit. However, "When We Were Young's" #2 peak makes it the Killers biggest UK hit yet. Janet Jackson barely manages to sneak inside the top 20 even with the benefit of physical sales. She has not scored a top 10 pop hit in the UK since 2001.

Comments

Scissor Sisters score a chart double this week as their new album Ta-Dah debuts at the top of the chart while "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" is keeping its hold on the singles chart. Elton John returns to the top 10 for the first time since 2001. His last album, 2004's Peachtree Road missed even making it inside the top 20.
