Comments

Leona Lewis continues to dominate the #1 spot on the chart this week. Kylie Minogue scores her 14th consecutive top 10 single as "2 Hearts" rolls into a comfortable top 5 perch. One of the biggest stories of the week is the first top 10 hit ever for Scottish favorites Runrig who have been favorites at home since the early 80's but have never scored a top 10 hit on the overall UK pop singles chart until now.

Comments

Leona Lewis has now followed up her #1 smash single "Bleeding Love" by debuting on the album chart with the fastest selling debut album of all time in the UK. She has passed up The Arctic Monkeys who set the new standard in early 2006 with their first album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not. Lewis even spoils the return of the Spice Girls who have to settle for a #2 debut for their Greatest Hits collection.
