Comments
It now looks possible that Daughtry could go all the way to #1 with their first hit single "It's Not Over." They move into the #3 spot behind Nelly Furtado and Beyonce, both of which seem to have peaked. It's been a long time since last August when the Jonas Brothers latest album appeared, but the trio finally enter the top 40 with the single "Year 3000." Is a Supertramp revival just around the corner? Ask Gym Class Heroes who built their breakthrough hit around the Supertramp classic "Breakfast in America."

As expected, Norah Jones swept to #1 in the first week of release for her 3rd solo album. Unfortunately, opening week sales were less than half that of her last album which left overall sales of albums still mired in a slump. Last year's American Idol Katharine McPhee made a good showing at #2 while Daughtry remains in the top 3.
