Digital sales of Ne-Yo's single "So Sick" were held back until release of his album In My Own Words. Consequently, the single sales added to already strong radio airplay are just the boost Ne-Yo needs to soar into the top spot on the pop singles chart. Daniel Powter continues to get a strong boost from exposure on the Thursday night American Idol elimination shows. Finally, it looks like Nick Lachey may just have some staying power as a solo pop artist.
