Rihanna lands her second #1 with "Umbrella" following last year's "S.O.S." to the top. It soars over 30 notches with the digital sales release of the single this past week. "Umbrella" is now #1 on both sides of the Atlantic spending its second week at the top in the UK this week. Shop Boyz prove that rock and rap do mix with a huge #3 debut for "Party Like a Rockstar." Both Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis open inside the top 20 following the end of this year's American Idol. However, with no physical release of the singles planned, Jordin Sparks may be the first winner to miss the top 10 with her debut release.

Maroon 5's single "Makes Me Wonder" may have fallen from the top spot on the singles chart this week, but they have a healthy opening to take over the top spot on the album chart with It Won't Be Soon Before Long. Ozzy Osbourne demonstrates he can still move albums with a big #3 debut for Black Rain, the latest album in a long, long career.

Just as American Idol comes to a close for the year, Chris Daughtry continues his hot streak as the biggest new artist to come out of 2006's version of the show. His self-named band score their second top 5 radio hit with "Home." Fergie continues her momentum up the chart with "Big Girls Don't Cry," the 4th single from her debut album The Dutchess.
