The biggest story this week is Fergie's amazing 35 notch leap to #4 this week with the digital release of her debut hit "London Bridge." If she rides the momentum to #1, she will outdo all of the singles off her group the Black Eyed Peas' massive hit album Monkey Business. That's not bad for a first try. Also, Nelly Furtado seems entrenched at the top as she dominates radio airplay to help stay at the peak for a 6th week. Beyonce makes a strong 27 place leap to the top 10, but her radio airplay is starting to fade. It is likely she will need a radio turnaround for "Deja Vu" to climb any higher.

There is stiff competition at the top of the chart this week, but it is former Destiny's Child member LeToya who wins the battle to open at #1 with her first solo album. The NOW collection continues strong sales, and Tom Petty has his highest debut on the chart of his 30-year career at #4.

Panic! At the Disco is knocking at the door of the top of the chart this week, but there is still a huge gap to try to catch Nelly Furtado. "Promiscuous" by Furtado and Timbaland has nearly a 30% edge in airplay over any other song on the chart. Fergie is looking very strong and should be knocking at the door of the top 10 by next week.
