Despite all of her personal life woes, Britney Spears has landed a genuine comeback smash. Climbing to #2 this week, "Gimme More" is now the highest charting single of Spears' career outside of her very first single, the #1 smash "...Baby One More Time." Due to the swift rise of the new single "Apologize," Timbaland has 2 singles in the top 5 this week as "The Way I Am" slowly falls on the chart. Feist's "1,2,3,4" this week becomes perhaps the biggest surprise top 10 hit of the year. This time last year no one would have guessed her pop breakthrough in 2007.
