After 14 weeks at the top of the chart, the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" finally steps aside to allow Jay Sean's "Down" to take over #1. Owl City's "Fireflies" seems to be the huge breakout left-field hit of the fall rising this week to #11. The Glee soundtrack continues to spin off hits as the show's version of "Alone" is the top debut this week.

All week it looked like Mariah Carey and Paramore were battling for #1, but in the final tally, Barbra Streisand scores her ninth #1 giving her #1 albums in each of the last five decades. Paramore have their bestselling week and highest chart placing ever at #2 with Brand New Eyes. Breaking Benjamin also have their best single sales week yet opening at #4 with Dear Agony.
