Comments

It is a relatively quiet week on this week's chart. Just weeks after Kanye West held off Britney Spears from the top of the pop singles chart, it looks like he will prevent Soulja Boy from reaching #1 as well. However, next week Timbaland is in a strong position to land at #1 once again with his song "Apology," largely the work of the band OneRepublic. Colbie Caillat pulls into the top 5 with "Bubbly." It's been well over a year since the song was first introduced to MySpace members.

Hot New Albums

Comments

It has been some time coming, but, after 4 consecutive top 10 studio albums, Kid Rock finally hits #1 this week on the album chart with Rock n Roll Jesus. Country singer LeAnn Rimes is no stranger to the top 10 of the album chart. She returns with her 7th top 10 album Family. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the week is the first debut outside the top 10 for Jennifer Lopez.

Hot New Radio Songs

Comments

Kanye West takes over the top of the radio airplay chart this week with "Stronger" while he also has the top debut on the chart, "Good Life," a song featuring singer T-Pain. Timbaland enters the top 5 with "Apologize" and should be challenging for the top soon. Just as Justin Timberlake's "LoveStoned" begins to lose strength, he is back with the mixing studio created duet with Beyonce on "Until the End of Time."
