As expected, Diddy opens at the top of the album chart, but the sales under 200,000 copies seems rather anemic after the deluge of publicity leading up to the release. In contrast, Evanescence is showing staying power with the 3rd week in the top 2 for The Open Door and sales at nearly 750,000 after just 3 weeks. However, that is dwarfed by the big album of the fall so far, Justin Timberlake's FutureSex / Love Sounds. Timberlake dropped out of the top 5 last week but is back this week with sales totals over 1.3 million so far.
