Moving solely into the country realm didn't hurt Carrie Underwood's sales much as she opens at #1 with her second album. That's one place higher than her first. The odd, on the surface, coupling of Alison Krauss and Robert Plant starts at #2 with a collection of gorgeous songs. Josh Groban's Christmas collection is the only top 5 album from last week to stay in the leading group.

Timbaland this week accomplishes the rare feat of having 2 songs in the pop radio top 3. His ability to land 2 songs so near the top at the same time is, at least in part, due to the fact that the styles of the two songs are so different from each other - pure pop vs. r&b. This year's American Idol champion Jordin Sparks is in the top 20 with her first post-Idol single. The future looks bright.
