Comments
The pop albums chart is usually a pretty quiet place in the final weeks of the year. However, with a well-timed last-minute before Christmas release, Mary J. Blige storms onto the chart selling over 700,000 copies and more than doubling her best sales week ever with the well-received new album The Breakthrough. She is trailed by Jamie Foxx's album Unpredictable and a duets album feauring the late Notorious B.I.G. Carrie Underwood remains in the top 5 her 6th week on the chart making Some Hearts the fastest selling first album ever by an American Idol contestant.
