1. Jennifer Lopez - "Dance Again" featuring Pitbull
Jennifer Lopez is planning her first ever full world concert tour beginning this summer. She will bring Enrique Iglesias along on the tour. He co-wrote the single "Dance Again." This song opened inside the top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100 making it the third highest debuting Jennifer Lopez song.
2. Adele - "Rumour Has It"
Adele continues to gather major accolades for her music. This week she was nominated for three Ivor Novello Awards, the UK's top award given to songwriters. "Rumour Has It" has now climbed into the top 10 on the adult pop radio chart and is in the top 20 at adult contemporary. It is also a top 40 hit on alternative and rock songs radio.
3. Maroon 5 - "Payphone" featuring Wiz Khalifa
Maroon 5 preview their next album Overexposed with this pop-oriented single. Although the subject matter is downbeat it follows in the hook-filled vein of last year's massive hit single "Moves Like Jagger." Shellback and Benny Blanco produced the record.
4. Train - "Drive By"
Train's sixth studio album California 37 hits stores today. "Drive By" has been a strong lead-in for the new collection. It has hit the top 10 on pop singles charts across Europe while climbing to #2 at adult pop radio here in the US.
5. Pitbull - "Back In Time"
The raps of Pitbull are on two of the five hottest songs of the week with his featured role above on Jennifer Lopez' latest. Pitbull is working on an official music video to accompany "Back In Time."
6. B.o.B. - "So Good"
B.o.B. is planning a live New York City album release event for the upcoming Strange Clouds album sponsored by Target on May 1, 2012. The album features guest appearances from Taylor Swift, Ryan Tedder, Chris Brown, and many more.
7. David Guetta - "Titanium" featuring Sia
In much of the world David Guetta's "Titanium" preceded "Turn Me On" as a single release. Consequently, "Titanium" has been a top 10 pop hit around the world and went to #1 on the UK dance and pop singles charts. It looks to be the second major pop hit single in the US to feature the vocals of Australia's Sia after Flo Rida's "Wild Ones."
8. Taylor Swift - "Eyes Open"
"Eyes Open" is Taylor Swift's 33rd song to reach the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 since 2006. With its more rock-oriented production it is not moving as quickly up the country chart as most of her music. However "Eyes Open" is already in the top 20 at adult pop radio.
9. Linkin Park - "Burn It Down"
"Burn It Down" is the lead single from Linkin Park's upcoming fifth studio album Living Things. It was co-produced by Rick Rubin. A music video has been filmed by the band's turntablist Joe Hahn.
10. Calvin Harris - "Feel So Close"
Calvin Harris performed this past weekend at the Coachella Festival. Rihanna joined him to sing on their collaborative hit "We Found Love." "Feel So Close" is a top 10 pop hit in Canada and has just entered the top 10 at mainstream top 40 pop radio in the US.
