Madonna announced that the recording sessions were under way for "Give Me All Your Luvin'" and her upcoming album MDNA by posting to Facebook, "Its official! I need to move. I need to sweat. I need to make new music!" The song has now become Madonna's 44th top 20 pop hit in the US. It has also already landed in the top 10 in at least seven different countries around the world.
2. fun - "We Are Young"

fun are arguably the biggest beneficiaries this year from Super Bowl exposure. The song "We Are Young" was featured in a commercial for the Chevy Sonic. Since then "We Are Young" has gone all the way to #1 on the iTunes singles sales chart. It has also reached the top 10 on the alternative songs chart while resting one notch outside the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
3. Katy Perry - "Part Of Me"

Katy Perry used her appearance at the Grammy Awards to launch her lastest single. "Part Of Me" is the first single from a re-release of the Teenage Dream album. It was first leaked clear back in late 2010. Now the song takes on new resonance after the end of her marriage to Russell Brand.
4. The Wanted - "Glad You Came"

"Glad You Came" is rising simultaneously on pop and dance charts for the Wanted in the US. The band are expected to re-release their latest UK album Battleground later in 2012, and it is expected to include a duet with Rihanna titled "Jealousy."
5. Chris Brown - "Turn Up the Music"

Chris Brown performed "Turn Up the Music" this past Sunday at the Grammy Awards. His inclusion has generated controversy from some who believed that his conviction on domestic violence charges should have precluded having him perform live as part of the event. The song was just released for sale this week and is already a top 40 hit at pop radio.

"Somebody That I Used To Know" has now reached #1 in at least 10 countries around the world from Australia to Poland. In the US Gotye has reached the top 3 of the alternative and rock songs charts. The song is now beginning to climb adult pop radio in addition to being a mainstream pop hit.
8. Train - "Drive By"

9. Gym Class Heroes - "Ass Back Home" featuring Neon Hitch

Gym Class Heroes are looking for their third top 10 pop hit with "Ass Back Home." It is nearing that lofty position at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 this past week. Featured singer Neon Hitch just released her first US single as lead artist "F**k U Betta."
10. Pitbull - "International Love" featuring Chris Brown

"International Love" is Pitbull's third top 20 pop hit in the US from his album Planet Pit. The album reached the top 10 on rap, R&B, and the overall mainstream album chart in the US.
