These are the hottest 10 pop songs of the week as determined by About Top 40. This chart is compiled consulting data from various music industry charts and sources. It is intended to indicate the hottest rising hits. Recordings that have reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart are disqualified from this chart.

1. Usher - "Scream"

Pitbull's "Back In Time" is a theme song for the movie Men In Black 3 which was released to theaters this past weekend. The song is a top 20 hit on the rap chart as well as the pop singles chart. In the UK "Back In Time" has reached #23. That makes it Pitbull's fifth appearance in the top 25 on the pop singles chart in the UK.

"Titanium" has been certified platinum in five different countries. It is the second featured performance on a major hit single this year in the US by singer Sia. She has not yet scored a significant pop hit single in the US as lead artist.

One Direction's new hit single was co-written and co-produced by Rami Yacoub and Carl Falk. Today the group released a live tour DVD, and announced the news that their first hit single "What Makes You Beautiful" has been certified double platinum in the US.

Phillip Phillips is the winner of season 11 of American Idol. "Home" is his official debut single. The song was written by Drew Pearson and folk singer Greg Holden. Mumford and Sons and Arcade Fire have been cited as influences on the writing of the song.
