Few songs in recent history have a melody that so easily sinks into your subconscious as "Bad Day." Some are already referring to Daniel Powter as a Canadian James Blunt.

2. Shakira featuring Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie

Shakira says this single is simply the result of when she and the Fugees' Wyclef Jean happened to end up in the same place together. It looks like the song may claim higher on the charts than her last hit "Don't Bother."

3. Bubba Sparxxx - Ms. New Booty

Bubba Sparxxx has re-emerged after the commercial failure of his second album Deliverance with a swift climbing single expressing his joy in the female anatomy.
