Newcomer James Blake's highly electronic music plays with silence and minimal sounds in a fashion which is mesmerizing. Add to the mix his uniquely longing voice and you have a sound that somewhat disturbingly sexy. James Blake himself is easy on the eyes when he's not completely blurred as in much of the music video for "The Wilhelm Scream." His self-titled debut album was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize at home in the UK.
