Freddie Mercury of Queen probably didn't realize he was writing what is slowly turning into a contemporary standard when Queen released "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" as a single in 1980. It became their first #1 pop hit in the U.S. and has since had a sojourn on the country music singles chart and found a new home among the classic swing sounds of Michael Buble's first album.
