Written and originally recorded for the now obscure 1955 movie Unchained, this song has become a pop standard. It reached the top 10 on the pop singles chart in 3 different recorded versions in 1955 and returned in 1965 with the definitive version by the Righteous Brothers. As recently as 2006 it returned to the charts in a new version by Barry Manilow on his Greatest Songs of the Fifties album.
