The Killers play mostly music that borrows heavily from early 80's post punk, but once in a while they can even venture into classic blue-eyed soul territory. Like many hip bands of the past they are an American group that gained their first success overseas in the UK before heading back home to conquer the fans at home. As icing on the cake, lead vocalist Brandon Flowers, smartly dressed and made up, is a sex symbol to gay men and straight women alike.
