U2's Bono takes it all in stride and rides on the shoulders of some of the best rock instrumental work ever. U2 truly are a band and have been performing together now for over 25 years. That's 3 times as long as the Beatles were together, and, at this point in their career, the Rolling Stones were struggling along with the forgettable album Dirty Work. In contrast, U2 gave us the searing rock of "Vertigo."
