Irish exchange student Rory Flanagan sings "Bein' Green" about his Irish heritage and Brittany's notions that he must be a leprechaun. The song was originally written for the first season of Sesame Street in 1970. It was sung by Kermit the Frog. "Bein' Green" is seen as a celebration of diversity. It was sung by Big Bird in 1990 at memorial services for Muppet creator Jim Henson.
"Candyman" is the first performance by the all-girl show choir put together by Shelby Corcoran. The lead trio features Mercedes, Brittany, and Santana. Singer-songwriter Teddy Thompson is the son of folk rock legends Richard and Linda Thompson. "Take Care Of Yourself" is included on his album Bella which was released earlier this year. Bella reached the top 10 on the US Heatseekers chart and the top 50 of the UK album chart.
Puck sings the Foreigner classic "Waiting For a Girl Like You." The song set a notable chart record of the most weeks at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 without hitting #1. The 1981 release spent a phenomenal 10 weeks at #2, most of it behind Olivia Newton-John's "Physical." "Waiting For a Girl Like You" is one of Foreigner's three biggest hit singles.
