  • A gentle love ballad by John Mayer with Katy Perry leads the week's top new pop songs as we head deep into Christmas season.

1. John Mayer and Katy Perry - "Who You Love"

Although it has been available on John Mayer's album Paradise Valley since August, his duet with girlfriend Katy Perry is now officially available as a single.  It is gentle, romantic folk pop.  The song was produced by legendary bassist and producer Don Was.  "Who Loves You" is already a top 20 hit at both adult pop and rock radio.

2. Safetysuit - "On Your Side"

Safetysuit are a Nashville, Tennessee based pop-rock band.  They have scored their top success at adult pop radio with four top 40 hit singles.  Last year's album These Times was a top 10 hit.  The new single "On Your Side" is rousing, uplifting adult rock that promises unflinching personal support.

3. Morrissey - "Satellite Of Love" Live

The music world lost a true legend when Lou Reed passed away earlier this fall. Morrissey has frequently performed the song "Satellite Of Love" in concert.  It was originally debuted on Lou Reed's 1972 album Transformer.  This cover of the song was recorded in 2011 in Las Vegas.

4. B.o.B. - "John Doe" featuring Priscilla

"John Doe" is a single from B.o.B.'s upcoming third studio album Underground Luxury.  Featured vocalist Priscilla is a successful R&B songwriter.  B.o.B. has hit the top 10 of the pop singles chart with four songs including the #1 hit "Nothin' On You."

5. The Killers - "Christmas In L.A." featuring Dawes

The Killers have released a Christmas single each year for the past eight years.  All of the proceeds from their holiday songs go to support AIDS charities.  "Christmas In L.A." is a wistful recording which includes a segment of words from the classic "White Christmas."

6. Greg Laswell - "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

Singer-songwriter and producer Greg Laswell has released five studio albums.  His most recent Landline broke into the upper half of the US album chart.  His version of the Christmas classic "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" digs deep into the emotionally affecting words.

7. Brit Smith - "Provocative - hiDhi" featuring will.i.am

Brit Smith began appearing on TV as a baby on the popular soap opera One Life To Live.  She spent much of the last decade as one half of the duo Brit and Alex with her sister.  They earned minor chart success in the UK.  She has had dance success recording under the name Matisse.

8. Ariana Grande - "Snow In California"

"Snow In California" is the third of Ariana Grande's singles that will be included on her Christmas Kisses EP due in stores next week.  The first was a cover of Wham's "Last Christmas."  She appeared this week performing on TV as part of NBC's annual Christmas In Rockefeller Center special.

9. Benny Benassi - "Back To the Pump"

Italian dance DJ and producer Benny Benassi is perhaps best known for the dance hit "Cinema" featuring Gary Go.  He first lit up dance floors around the world with the 2003 club track "Satisfaction."
