An impressive return to form by Mariah Carey with Miguel leads this week's top new pop songs.

It has been four years since Mariah Carey has had a top 40 pop hit single. It looks like all of that will soon change. Her new single "#Beautiful" has received powerful critical acclaim both for her performance and the production and performance of Miguel. It has also taken off quickly in both sales and radio airplay. Mariah Carey is back.

Cazzette are a Swedish dance music production duo. They gained strong attention for a remix of Adele's #1 pop hit "Set Fire To the Rain." "Beam Me Up" is the duo's first official single. It was initially available to stream only in 2012.

6. We the Kings - "Find You There"

Pop punk band We the Kings lean strongly to the pop side of that equation. Five of their songs have reached the top 40 of mainstream pop radio airplay. "Find You There" is the second single from an expected upcoming fourth studio album by the band.

Tamar Braxton is one of the founding members of the R&B group the Braxtons. They reached the R&B top 40 with the single "So Many Ways." Tamar Braxton now stars with her sisters and mothers on the reality TV show Braxton Family Values. "The One" is a single from Tamar Braxton's upcoming solo album Love and War. The title song was a top 5 R&B hit. The album is expected this July.

Celebrated hip hop artist Lauryn Hill has made recent headlines by receiving a prison sentence for evading federal income tax payments. "Neurotic Society" is a new single released as a part of a new recording contract that may ultimately lead to a second studio album from Lauryn Hill. It would be her first since the critically acclaimed 1998 debut The Miseductation Of Lauryn Hill.
