Top 10 New Pop Albums March 13, 2007

By Bill Lamb, About.com

It's a British invasion this week, and a few other choice releases.

1. Amy Winehouse - Back to Black

Back to Black has already been #1 in the UK and Amy Winehouse won the 2007 Brit Award for Best British Female Artist. Now American audiences can experience what the UK already knows - Amy Winehouse is hot.

2. James Morrison - Undiscovered

This is another recent #1 album in the UK. James Morrison took home the 2007 Brit Award for Best British Male Artist. It's singer-songwriter tunes with the soul of Stevie Wonder and Otis Redding.

3. Lloyd - Street Love

The first single "You" is still charging its way up the pop charts and has already reached #1 on the r&b chart. Look for this second solo album by Lloyd to climb significantly higher than the #11 peak of his first.

4. The Fratellis - Costello Music

It's another British debut. You probably first encountered the Fratellis with the use of their song "Flathead" in an Apple iPod TV ad. Now American audiences can take home the full album debut of the rock sound of the Fratellis.
