Outside Lands
- hundreds of thousands of people in san francisco's massive golden gate park, with headliners like arcade fire, the black keys, the shins, mgmt, erykah badu, beirut, and the decemberists...this is an event that must be considered seriously.

1996' Woodstock Music Revival
- yea, it's a poor comparison to the authentic 1960's woodstock music festival that was held in bethel, new york (NOT held in Woodstock actually!) anyhow, aside from me being a smart a**, the 1996 rendition of the original woodstock show was very majestic. it had a lasting impression on me since it was and still is to this day one of my favorite childhood memories. unexplainable greatness, you have to experience it to feel it! Peace out, K.A.J.P.

Corpus Christi Jazz Festival
- I find it unbelievable that Corpus Christi Jazz Festival is not mentioned in the Texas music festivals. It is the longest running this year was 49th FREE jazz festival in the country. It use to be held over the 4th of July weekend on the T-heads, but the heat caused it to be moved to an October date in Heritage Park. It is a wonderful experience with great groups from all over - Dallas, Albuquerque, San Antonio, etc. A very relaxed pleasant family atmosphere.
