So , One Direction may have broken some tour ticket records, although I am love One Direction very much , I love TVXQ equally . TVXQ IS POSSIBLY THE BIGGEST BAND ON THIS PLANET. They have more than a million fans on this planet . One Direction has many fans as well , in Europe , North America , South America , Australia , Africa, and some in Asia . TVXQ has fans all over this planet. They dominated Asia since they debuted . Don't give favoritism to One Direction just because you have listened to them forever since they became 'BIG' in your eyes without even realizing who JYJ/TVXQ is. You have to give both a chance. Tvxq has the record of most pictures taken of a celebrity. They are very famous. Give them a chance . At least , take the time to see and listen to who they are , and their music.

I agree with all of the bands on this list. I wish they had included Blue, and A1 as well. I think they do deserve a spot as well. As for everyone who thinks One Direction is the best needs to grow up or start exploring other music. They were created on tv on UK X Factor. Take That, Boyz 2 Men, New Edition, NKOTB, truly deserve a spot because they were pioneers back then. Westlife & Boyzone (both of whom I love) & One Direction owe there careers to Take That because they made pop music acceptable & cool when it actually wasn't. They opened a lot of doors for potential pop acts (especially in Europe & Asia) that probably would have stayed shut. This is proven by I think it was Q magazine a few years ago that interviewed thousands of british musicians/bands like Coldplay to find the 10 most influential male pop artists/bands. According to the list they were The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Elvis, The Jackson 5, Radiohead, The Stones, New Edition, Take That, and Prince.

First off, I'd like to say that I do not use the term "boy band" I like to call them bands or vocal groups because I feel the term "boy band" makes them sound wimpy and not talented.. Now my opinion although they had the shortest career *//\\//SYNC is and always will be the best, and it aggravates me when people say basks treat is number one when they are not. I am and always will be nsync's number one fan!

One Direction is on this list! they are five incredible, talented, lovely, dreamy boys. they have had so much success worldwide , the records broken by them... people call them the biggest boy band right now. and lets not even get started with their fans! I love one direction and i think they should and deserve to be on this list. go liam, harry, niall, zayn and louis!

Okay for everyone going hysterical, THE BEATLES is NOT A BOYBAND. And so is green day, wtf why did someone even say green day??? Boybands people boybands. Not bands. And yes I agree. BSB, westlife nsync are awesome BUT I think Blue should be there too.

compare ..ur boybands to westlife..westlife voice are great!especially the leader shane filan..he can sing all songs ....and his voice is very perfect..he never get ot of his tune..westlife members are perfect..they got a look..they are handsomes.compare other boybands ..mark for very high notes!..so stop comparing to westlife! westlife the greatest boyband ever!!!please listen to the voice..not the song..because the westlife..only in ireland..

i really, do not understand...i like asian group like k-pop group(dbsk, tvxq), what?they broken record??only record for stupid largest fan in twitter, does not prove anything...selling album an d unforgettable song will last 4rever.their song are'nt good at all. i want it that way(bsb the best) is consider classic pop song.

It'a a no-brainer that the list should read: 1. Backstreet Boys ...... 2. NSYNC .... 3. Westlife ..... Some of the groups mentioned are not necessarily considered "Boy Bands" even though they consist of all males....

Westlife should be number 4 or 5. They got alot of their songs went number one. Unlike the other boybands they have been together for 14 years without any splitting.
