After it failed to appear a couple of weeks back, Beyonce's much anticipated video collaboration with Lady Gaga is finally out. It is visually very pleasing. I expect the sort of fetish style approach to weapons and terrorist inspired imagery will disturb some viewers. However, the segments featuring Beyonce and Lady Gaga are highly appealing. Hype Williams directed the clip, and it is well worth a look. Time will tell if it is enough to give Beyonce yet another hit from her year old I Am...Sasha Fierce collection. 2009 was no exception to years past in giving us some pop music we would rather not hear again any time soon. These songs have moved beyond innocuous to the status of actually annoying. Check out this year's list of the Top 10 Most Annoying Songs of 2009.

No less than five artists who hit #1 or #2 with their most recent albums will be releasing new collections to stores this week. That doesn't even count artists like American Idol champion Kris Allen, Fall Out Boy, and Justin Bieber who also have new albums. Welcome to the biggest two weeks of new pop albums for the entire year 2009.

The momentum hardly lets up next week either, and the hottest albums are out a day early on Monday for your Thanksgiving shopping week convenience. More American Idol riches are on their way with Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment while last spring's worldwide sensation Susan Boyle and Rihanna offer new music for your listening pleasure. And, lest we forget, Lady Gaga is back with some of the most eagerly awaited new music of the fall on The Fame Monster.
